Ausstellung mit Jens Reichert, Séléstat / Alsace: Schaufenster, une vitrine dédiée á l´Art Contemporain

Cristina Ohlmer und Jens Reichert tragen Zeugnisse ihres künstlerischen Gedächtnisses zusammen. Sie sind Reisende in der realen Welt und im Universum des Imaginären. Aus dem Alltag und Erinnerungen aus Übersee, ihren Verknüpfungspunkten, der Augen zwinkernden Nachbarschaft inszenieren sie mit einer Vielzahl von Modellen das Ausstellungs-Schaufenster- als ein „Warenangebot“ dieses alten kleinen Ladens im Elsass (nun Kunstraum).
Einer bewegt sich nach Osten, China, und der andere nach Norden, Island. Beide treten in direkten Dialog. Tag und Nacht – denn Licht lockt durch einen Ausschnitt im Ausstellungsfenster aus dem abgeschlossenen Raum in die Nacht auf die Strasse und weckt den Traum, wenn „die Mäuse den nächtlichen Walzer tanzen“.
Cristina Ohlmer and Jens Reichert are gathering evidence of their artistic memory. Travelling all over the real world and in the world of the imaginary. Their model is the everyday, their tool the association, the neighborhood. By bringing together a large number of models, they stage their perception and show their visual reflection of the world. Associations in dynamic connections. They expose in an ancient grocery shop – the Schaufenster – in a review of flashes of lost time and places, inhabiting it with their visions and memories from overseas. This exhibition is a „delivery of merchandise“, a joint transfer of works chosen by each to this former small shop in Alsace. They call it „LE LADEN 7J/7“.
One moves east, to China, and the other north, to Iceland. Like a garden, found objects assembled: we find small empty spaces, colorful follies, known, unknown, exotic, fantastic visions, oblivion and dreams-of the goods. Art Values, sentimental values in life. Day and night- 7 days of 7 – they animate the old space and offer a representation of reals in the exhibition windows and suggest dreaming when „the mouse dance the night waltz“- this by an introspective light installation in the inner room.
